About the Elect
 


For the Elect's sake the period in the End Times known as the 'Great Tribulation' will be shortened;

Matthew chpt.24
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
 

The Elect are the witnesses spoken of in the Book of Revelation. The two olive trees of spiritual Israel, the House of Judah and the House of Israel, represent the twelve tribes identified as the 144,000 Elect - 12,000 in each tribe;

Revelation chpt.11
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These... are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
 

The Elect are the most important group of people on the Earth at this time. They hold the key to the fate of humankind. These chosen people must stand firm against the temptations and lies that Satan will put before them, just as he tried to convince Job to forsake God 4,000 years ago.
